During my time working at WildBrain Spark, I went over the hills and far away and emerged with a 10 track pop album with everyone's favourite space babies, The Teletubbies! Deviating from what would be expected of most kid's music, we wanted to offer something that was not only fun for kids, but for the parents too by giving it a hyper-pop production value. Songs about hide and seek and Tubby Toast are always better with catchy choruses and a few guitar solos here and there, right? See what you think anyway. I am certain that you will find something to enjoy amongst this huge body of work. We definitely tried to make something for everyone where we can and I feel like we achieved that.
From book, to live show, to short film, Rejoining Jane from Brighton based dance artists Tick Tock Bridget is a story about a shy librarian who must put her new life of comfort and safety on hold as she embarks on a journey to rediscover her love for adventure and find her long-lost brother. The short film tells the story through impressive choreography, brilliant cinematography and an array of music from some brilliant artists... And me!
The track I composed and produced 'Batten Down the Hatches' is a fusion of punk, reggae and jazz and accompanies Jane as she sets off on her journey.

A short film written and produced by film makers Bertie Gilbert & Sammy Paul, Blue Sushi tells the story of how the life of lead singer Scarlett suddenly changes since coming out to his band members, manager and loving fans as a trans-man. As well as highlighting a small aspect of the adversity that transgender people might face, it teaches everyone a valuable lesson that until you can truly be who you are, you will never be happy.
The broader sentiment is what inspired me to write the song 'Move', performed by the band in the film as well as the opening credits song 'Through Your Eyes'. In addition to the Blue Sushi performances, we also released a version of my own as a single!
Sometimes it really is 'who you know' and is this case, I know both halves of talented comedy duo Jack & Dean. So close that I'm literally related to one of them.
Together, we wrote a comedy song that promotes consensual sexy sex and with the help of Jonti Picking (Weebl) producing the track, we came out with a funked up banger of white people trying to rap and cheap guitar solos.
With the music video being one of their biggest successes with over a million views and a performance on BBC Radio 1, the fun didn't stop there with me writing two musical numbers to accompany the fantastic scoring work of Benjamin Squires in the two seasons of their sit-com Jack & Dean of All Trades.

Humble beginnings. If you read the bio, then you'll know that I started writing songs off the back of learning how to play the guitar. These are the two that I would say I am most proud of. There will be many more to come and am very excited to show everyone what I've been cooking up in my home studio.
